Offer Accepted

We accepted an offer for the house! We’re very excited to get this ball rolling on moving to Birmingham. 

We are looking at houses in Birmingham, February 1st to the 4th. So please send all the positive vibes!!! 

I also have an interview while we are out there with another HVAC company. I’m very excited. 

This is all happening so fast and I’m trying to keep up! I appreciate anyone that reads this!!! Thank you!!

Drumroll please….

 

Our fate has been sealed. Some of you know what's been going on and know the frustrations we've gone through to get here. And now we know what the outcome is:

WE'RE GOING TO BIRMINGHAM!

We're coming for you Bama! Get ready! So what's next? We'll be putting the house on the market very soon, and looking for a new house in the Birmingham area. 

I've already begun looking at jobs in the area. I'm so sad to leave my current job because it's been the best environment I've had since landing in Georgia. 

We're sad to leave our friends but ready for this new adventure!

You Shall Not Pass

 

This past week was not good. We were finally going to be done with the house work to get it ready for pictures and then list it. Then Tuesday happened. 

Cleaners came 4 hours early to start. Which isn’t bad but inconvenient when you’re planning a work schedule with other people. And then the BOOM. 

My medical at Fairchild AFB (the base we were going to in Washington) DENIES my medical packet. Denies it! I don’t need anything too special. So we aren’t sure why they did that. 

To sum up ALL the questions you have…..

I DON’T KNOW. Plain and simple. No idea on ANYTHING. And I can’t ask Chris because, he also does not know. This is a first for us. We are seeking answers and unfortunately there’s not much but hurry up and wait. 

I can tell you this, we’re waiting for new orders and are hoping to stay on the east coast. It would just be easier for us. 

So that’s the best I got for ya! We are still doing house pictures so we have them ready when we are able to list. I’m honestly a little relieved a didn’t have to drive the cats all the way to Washington. #sorrynotsorry

Painting the Roses Red

 Well we’re painting now! This is the house! We packed A LOT. We have a storage unit, last post told you that. Some stuff is in the garage just for painting purposes. We also made the decision to rent a house so we don’t have to leave half our stuff here in GA. 

I’ll be getting ahold of a cleaner to get this house ready for pictures and then HOPEFULLY on the market by next Friday. That’s the goal. I really want this process to go as smooth as possible but it probably won’t since I’ve said it out loud!

So it begins.....

 Things are starting to move forward. 

We've decide to live in an apartment in Spokane. We plan on applying for that in November. 😩

We've gotten a storage unit for the things we can't bring with us. We will be living in a 2b/2b so that doesn't leave a lot room for stuffs.

I've applied to school up there and am waiting to hear back to see if I've been accepted. I've also been in contact with an HVAC company about a job. 

We've started to take down pictures off the walls. 

Soon we will be painting and getting the house on the market but for now it's just organizing.

The cats of course are curious but are unbothered right now. They just know things are happening and they shouldn't be, just don't be late for treat time please.
